Event Staff for Golf Events

Golf has become a big spectator sport, attracting thousands of keen golfers to watch players compete in top competitions.

For some golf loving Envisage promotional team members, it was a dream come true when they were asked to cover the British Masters Open European Tour – although there was little time to watch the golf!

Their brief was to provide a meet and greet customer service, dealing with all problems and customer concerns throughout the event. Among their tasks they were required to undertake were :-

• Selling tickets
• Dealing with any ticket enquiries
• Scan tickets at all the entrance points
• Provide any assistance required on site.

Every member of the promotional team had to be fully experienced in customer care, be fully trained and have the right personal attributes – friendly, personable, approachable and well presented. This was no problem to our team – we knew that all our staff always meet these criteria.

The event outcome
For our staff this was became an event to remember.

The hours were long as staff had to be on site each day at 6.30 am ready to deal with the thousands of fans keen to grab the best viewing points along the course.

They had to work outside all the time, requiring a lot of energy, patience and a ready smile no matter what t5he weather or time of day. Our promotional staff achieved this with ease – they are professional through and through. The client quickly realised just how beneficial opting to hire such an experienced team could make to a big event.

Thousands of people gathered to watch the British Masters Open Tour. After all, it is one of the biggest games in the golfing calendar having been founded originally as the Dunlop Master in 1949. It is an event that has seen many notable occasions such as the first live broadcast hole in one by Tony Jacklin at the 16th hole at the St George’s course in 1967. With competition prizes now totalling millions of pounds, it is no surprize that top golfing tournaments attract vast crowds – resulting in a need for top quality staff to provide a matching high level of customer service.

This wasn’t the first time that Dreams staff have appeared on the golf course. We’re well known for providing all the extra help and assistance required to mount these events, whether for large or small tournaments. You will find us providing customer care, marshals, stewards, and hospitality – whatever is needed to make a tournament a success.
